I’d like to try a new dynamic but I’m not sure it’s really my thing

Whether you're new to female-led relationships or already have experience as a dominant woman, questions are normal. In our "Chyrpe Letters" series, we answer questions from our users and our past selves with the kind advice you’d expect from a good friend. Have a question? Let us know, we’re always happy to expand our series.

This post covers:

Hey lovely,

If your current relationship dynamic feels a bit unbalanced, where you often find yourself taking a backseat, it's completely normal to crave some changes. It's natural to worry about making the wrong move, but the beauty is you don’t have to jump in all at once. You can start small, and then expand your explorations as you feel more comfortable.

From personal experience, I started small by taking the lead in making more decisions and planning and even tried being more assertive in the bedroom by being on top occasionally. This gentle shift was empowering and positively transformed how we interact. It wasn't just about having control, but about finding a balance where both of our voices could be heard and respected.

Embrace the curiosity you have about different dynamics in your relationship—there’s beauty in discovering new facets of your partnership. And remember, effective communication is key. It keeps you both engaged and open to each other’s needs as you try new ways of connecting.

Starting with small steps can lead to significant insights, helping you build a relationship that feels enriching and genuinely supportive.

Keep glowing,

xoxo 😘
